Since 1933, the Georgia Municipal Association has represented Georgia’s municipal governments — all 536 cities across the state — through legislative advocacy, education, technical consulting, and the tools cities need to become more innovative, effective, and responsive to their communities. For nearly a century, GMA has stood as the voice for Georgia’s cities at every level, ensuring municipalities of every size have a seat at the table.
For South Georgia, that means GMA represents the mayors, city councils, and municipal officials making the decisions that shape our region’s future, from infrastructure investment to economic development to the small-town character that makes South Georgia’s cities special. Their work behind the scenes touches nearly every community across our 50-county coverage area.
We are grateful for their partnership and proud to amplify the work of Georgia’s city leaders: the people making the decisions that move South Georgia forward, one city at a time.
