Worth County Partners with Dennis Quaid’s Viewpoint for National Spotlight

Worth County has a story worth telling, and now it’s being told on a national stage.

The Worth County Economic Development Authority partnered with Viewpoint with Dennis Quaid to produce two new videos spotlighting the people, places, and opportunities that define life in Worth County. The first is a five-minute feature taking a closer look at the county’s business climate, workforce, quality of life, and community. The second is a short commercial offering a quick, engaging introduction to what makes Worth County worth a second look.

The commercial is scheduled to air nationally this August, and beginning August 24, the full Viewpoint segment will begin distribution to more than 170 public television stations across the country, airing as interstitial programming for a full year through 2027.

For a rural South Georgia county to earn that kind of national platform is no small thing. Worth County’s economic development team has been intentional about telling their story, and this campaign puts it in front of businesses, investors, and site selectors who might not otherwise have South Georgia on their radar.
